Backup Policy

Backups are the customer's responsibility unless explicitly included in a managed service or backup add-on.

1. Included by default

Standard unmanaged VPS plans should be treated as not including guaranteed backups, managed restore workflows, or backup validation.

2. Optional backups

If snapshots, backup storage, or managed backups are offered, they are convenience features and not a substitute for your own tested off-site backup strategy.

3. Restores and limitations

Restores may be limited by snapshot availability, upstream platform constraints, corruption, retention windows, or customer error. We do not guarantee recovery of every file, database, or point in time.

4. Reinstall and destructive actions

Reinstall, OS reset, customer-requested rebuild, accidental deletion, compromise, or expired subscriptions can result in permanent data loss.

5. Rescue and snapshot limitations

Rescue mode and snapshots are recovery conveniences, not guaranteed continuity features. Snapshot creation, retention, rollback, and restore windows may vary by platform capability and service state.
